The purpose of Blooms of Hope is to raise awareness about the reality of human trafficking while fostering a sense of community and compassion. By passing out flowers on Thursday, February 13 in Fairfax Corner, we aim to spark meaningful conversations, share critical information about this global issue, and inspire hope and action within the communities we serve.
This simple yet powerful act of kindness symbolizes the beauty and restoration that can emerge even in the face of hardship. It’s also an opportunity to connect with individuals, share resources, and invite others to join us in combating human trafficking.
Volunteers are essential to the success of this event! Training will be provided over Zoom on Wednesday, February 5 from 7:00 to 8:00 PM prior to the event to ensure that all volunteers are equipped to engage with the community, share our message effectively, and understand the event’s logistics. Together, we can plant seeds of hope and make a meaningful impact.
In addition to volunteering, supporters can sponsor bouquets to help cover the cost of flowers, allowing us to reach more people with this vital message. Your participation—whether through volunteering, sponsorship, or both—will make a difference in raising awareness and supporting survivors.
