Mission For Christ
In 2003, Mission for Christ (MFC) was established as a non-profit organization in the United States. Its mission is to extend the Kingdom of God through training and equipping missionaries, reaching the unreachable, and addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of different communities. MFC’s projects aim to not only rehabilitate people but also provide preventive measures for various issues.
One of the programs established was the Daughters of St. Mary. The program offers girls a holistic education in both spirituality and women's health. Through its education and empowerment, the program serves as a preventive measure against HIV/AIDS and rape. Through it, the girls are also provided with various school supplies to provide for continuity in education. Later, in the face of rising numbers of women caught in sex slavery and prostitution, a prominent need for service was discovered. Leaving the Jar was born in Kenya, to now allow a safe haven and education for the women already caught in prostitution and sex slavery.
