Egyptian sculpturer-- Thutmose-- made this queen famous through the recognizable statue of her bust. This authentic papyrus of Queen Nefertiti is made from the Cyperus (Papyrus) plant, which commonly grows in areas near the Nile River. It is stripped of its fibrous layers and dried to soften before pressed into a think paper-like material through a labor-intensive process.
