Why Volunteers Matter

Volunteers play a vital role in expanding the reach of Leaving The Jar’s work. By offering your skills, insight, and time, you help strengthen programs, deepen community impact, and support sustainable, long-term change.

Current Volunteer Opportunities

These are roles we are actively seeking support for. Opportunities may be remote, local, or project-based depending on availability.

Grant Research & Writer

What this role supports:
Helping secure funding that sustains prevention, intervention, and rehabilitation programs.

Role overview:
Research grant opportunities and assist with writing or editing proposals and reports.

Time commitment:
Flexible / project-based

Content Designer (Social Media)

What this role supports:
Clear, engaging communication of LTJ’s mission and impact.

Role overview:
Design graphics and visual content for social media and digital platforms using brand-aligned tools.

Time commitment:
Ongoing or project-based

General Research Volunteer

What this role supports:
Strong, informed educational and program development efforts.

Role overview:
Assist with research related to trafficking awareness, prevention topics, training materials, or program planning.

Time commitment:
Flexible / remote-friendly
